The Madawaska–Edmundston crossing connects Madawaska, Maine with Edmundston, New Brunswick across the Saint John River. It is the primary crossing between northern Maine and western New Brunswick, serving local residents, long-distance travelers, and traffic on the Trans-Canada Highway corridor.
