The Peace Arch border crossing (officially Douglas/Peace Arch) connects Surrey, BC with Blaine, Washington, at the I-5/Highway 99 corridor. It is the busiest passenger vehicle crossing in British Columbia.
Best times to cross: Weekday mornings before 7am and after 7pm typically see the shortest waits. Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings are peak periods.
Lane types available: Standard, NEXUS, and Ready Lane. NEXUS holders can use dedicated low-wait lanes on both sides.
Southbound (Canada to US): Check the I-5 Peace Arch camera for real-time queue depth. Northbound (US to Canada): The Beach Road cameras show approach traffic from the US side.
